Land of Engines, History, and Flavors

Maranello Resort Borgo Torre della Montina is located along a district of Maranello, known as Torre Maina, which once held great importance due to its ancient human settlements. Over the centuries, Torre Maina has been recognized as a starting point for those wishing to embark on a journey toward the Apennines or Tuscany, crossing the Tiepido Valley or the ancient road to Pistoia.

Traveling along the road, one would reach several locations of significant historical and archaeological value, such as Puianello, where in the estate known as “le Salse,” there are small volcanic vents in continuous bubbling activity, and where numerous fragments of bricks and ceramics from the Roman era have surfaced.

These findings suggest that even in Roman times, these "salse" may have been used for therapeutic purposes.

Beyond the Engines, the Heart of Emilian Tradition

Maranello, world-renowned as the home of Ferrari, is nestled in the picturesque hills of Modena. It is a paradise not only for motorsport enthusiasts but also for those seeking a destination rich in cultural heritage, filled with culinary excellence and breathtaking landscapes.

Maranello is known for producing the famous Aceto Balsamico di Modena, the renowned Parmigiano Reggiano, as well as Nocino, an ancient liqueur made from the harvest and processing of walnut husks, Prosciutto Crudo di Modena DOP, and Lambrusco wine.

Where dreams gain speed.

Maranello is the iconic city for all Ferrari enthusiasts.

Ferrari and Maranello have been deeply intertwined for over 50 years. Enzo Ferrari initially engaged in activities outside of automotive manufacturing under his contract with Alfa Romeo, followed by the creation of the new brand Auto Avio Costruzioni at the traditional headquarters of Scuderia Ferrari in Via Trento e Trieste in Modena. In 1943, the war forced Ferrari to relocate the factory outside of Modena.

The choice fell on Maranello, where Enzo Ferrari already owned a farmhouse and some plots of land
